Society of Heating, Refrigerating and
Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE),
BACnet is an American national standard, a
European standard, a national standard in
more than 30 countries, and an ISO global
standard. The protocol is supported and
maintained by ASHRAE Standing Standard
